The best budget place to stay is Sobe Nedovic, which is located around a 20-minute walk from both the beach and Budva Old Town. The property is conveniently just a 5-minute walk from the bus station, which makes it ideal if you’re planning to get to or from the town by bus.
One of the nicest things about the property is the shared terrace, which is a lovely place to relax both during the day and evening.
If you’re trying to stick to a tight budget then you’re in luck as there is a shared kitchen at the property where you’re able to cook your own meals.
All of the rooms at the property have air conditioning and a fridge, but the one downside is that there are no private bathrooms. Fortunately there are 4 bathrooms between the 8 rooms at the property, so it’s unlikely you’ll ever be made to wait.

The family-run Villa Giardino is another one of the best places to stay in Budva, although it’s a bit further from the beach and the Old Town, it still only takes around 20 minutes to walk to both. Alternatively, taxis are relatively inexpensive if you’d prefer not to walk.
The property offers a number of good quality hotel-like rooms, but if you’d prefer to have more space then it’s also possible to book an apartment with a living room. All rooms and apartments have air conditioning and cable TV as well as a balcony. On top of that, the property also has a nice terrace which is perfect for enjoying the sunny weather!

If you’re looking to indulge in a luxurious stay then Avala Resort and Villas is undeniably one of the best hotels and places to stay in Budva. Perfectly located beside the historical centre of Budva, the resort has 2 lovely outdoor pools – one of which offers brilliant views over both the Old Town and the Adriatic Sea.
Walking to the Old Town takes just a few minutes, and there are plenty of restaurants and bars in the surrounding area.
The property is also a short walk from the pleasant Mogren beach – one of the best beaches in Budva. If you’d prefer to stay in the resort then fortunately there’s both a restaurant and bar on site, the latter of which is a great place to enjoy a cocktail or two whilst enjoying wonderful views of the Old Town and the sea.

Treat yourself to a room at Hotel Fagus to enjoy a stay at one of the best hotels in Budva. Conveniently located a 5-minute walk from the beach and a 10-minute walk from the Old Town, the location is hard to beat.
The highlight of the property is undoubtedly the rooftop infinity pool, which is a brilliant place to cool off whilst enjoying beautiful views of the area. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, as well as a restaurant and bar at the hotel itself too.
Rooms at the property are comfortable and modern, making for the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Budva. In terms of amenities all rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen cable TV, a kettle and a hairdryer. The hotel has a 24-hour front desk so if you have any problems during your stay then someone will always be around to help, although this hotel is not a five star property in Budva, it definitely has a luxurious feel.
Perhaps the only downside of the property is that there is no free parking available, but the friendly staff will always try to help find appropriate parking where possible. Breakfast is normally included in the price of the room, and rates start from €86 per night, but you should expect to pay more during the summer months.
