Diamond Guest House
Diamond Guest House is one of the best places to stay if you’re looking for budget accommodation inside Jaisalmer Fort itself. Inside the fort is one of the best areas to stay in Jaisalmer, as its a unique experience and well-located for exploring.
As accommodation in the fort is limited, you’ll normally find better value staying outside, but there are still some reasonable options. Diamond Guest House offers comfortable rooms, as well as a rooftop terrace with incredible views of Jaisalmer and the nearby Jain Temple.
There is a lovely restaurant at the property, so you can enjoy the great views whilst eating. On top of that, the staff can help book any tours you want to do in and around Jaisalmer.

Hotel Heritage House offers beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms at extremely reasonable prices. Rooms at the hotel are spacious and fitted with air conditioning, which we personally think is much needed when staying in Jaisalmer as it can get very hot!
The hotel is located around a 15 minute walk away from the fort and centre of Jaisalmer, but if you don’t fancy walking then tuk tuks are a cheap alternative! Staff at the hotel are incredibly friendly and will do anything they can to ensure you have a wonderful stay.

The Boutique Helsinki Hotel is one of the best places to stay in Jaisalmer for the price. It’s incredible value considering the beautiful interior of the rooms, which wouldn’t be out of place in a high-end hotel.
One of the reasons the hotel is such good value is that it isn’t located in the fort, but even still it’s just a 15-minute walk away. The advantage of the location is that the rooftop terrace provides great views of the fort, especially when it’s lit up at night.
The hotel has everything you need, with a restaurant on site as well as good facilities in all the rooms, including air conditioning, flat screen TVs, a fridge and more! Rooms at the hotel start from around $35 USD (2,475 rupees) per night, with breakfast included in the price.
Marriott Resort & Spa
The luxurious Marriott Resort & Spa Hotel is one of the best places to stay in Jaisalmer. One of the best things about staying at the hotel is the lovely swimming pool, which is perfect for cooling off from the desert heat!

One of the most unique places to stay in Jaisalmer is the wonderful Sujan The Serai Jaisalmer. Located around 30 kilometres away from the main city, Sujan The Serai Jaisalmer offers luxurious tents in the heart of the Thar Desert.
Staying here is a truly unique experience, and gives you the chance to stay in the desert whilst maintaining a high level of comfort. The staff are incredibly attentive to ensure all your needs and desires are met throughout your stay.
