With a range of on-site cabins available, as well as both powered and unpowered campsites, you’ll find options to suit almost every budget. The park’s location in Cape Otway, roughly halfway along the Great Ocean Road, makes it a convenient stop on your road trip.
Facilities at Bimbi Park include a camp kitchen, laundry room, and an amenities block with toilets and showers, so there’s everything you need, whether you’re camping or staying in a cabin. Our stay here was a highlight of our trip along the Great Ocean Road, mainly due to the regular koala sightings throughout our visit.

Cape Otway Lightstation
Enjoy a unique stay in heritage accommodation on the Great Ocean Road at the Cape Otway Lightstation. Originally built for lighthouse keepers in the 19th century, it offers amazing views of the Cape Otway Lighthouse and the Southern Ocean, especially at sunrise and sunset.
Kangaroos are regularly seen around the property, and koalas are often seen in the surrounding areas of Cape Otway, so it’s a great choice for wildlife lovers.
Accommodation options at the Cape Otway Lightstation range from double rooms to a four-bedroom house. The prime location does mean it’s slightly more expensive than other options, but the spectacular views make it well worth it.
