The national park is becoming an increasingly popular spot to visit, largely thanks to the stunning scenery at Cheow Lan Lake. Although the lake is generally the main attraction, there are some other great activities and tours to enjoy in the area. Best places to stay in Khao Sok National Park
Budget
Chillax Hostel
Chillax Hostel is one of the best budget accommodation options in Khao Sok National Park. Both dorms and private rooms are available, and all the rooms are comfortable and have air conditioning.
One of the best things about staying at Chillax Hostel is the staff are extremely friendly and can help you arrange a number of different tours, trips and activities in Khao Sok National Park – all at a very fair price!
On top of that they are very responsive to messages via Booking.com and will even book your transport to Khao Sok for you if you ask.
The hostel is just outside the main part of the village, but is still within easy walking distance to a number of restaurants, as well as the Khao Sok Rasta Bar and Jumanji Bar.
Some of the private rooms at the hostel have great views of the national park’s karst limestone cliffs, which you can enjoy from your balcony. Prices at this Khao Sok accommodation start from 400 baht a night for a dorm and 1000 baht for a private room.

Khao Sok Palm Garden Resort
Another of the top budget accommodation options in the area is the Khao Sok Palm Garden Resort. The property is well-located around a 10-minute walk from the entrance to Khao Sok National Park, and a number of bars and restuarants.
There are a few different basic bungalow-style rooms available at the property, but they are good value for money.
If you’re really on a budget some rooms only come with a fan, but we recommend paying a little more for a room with air conditioning as it can get quite hot in Thailand!
Staff at the property are extremely friendly and are more than happy to help you book tours and activities for your time in Khao Sok. Rooms start at 1,260 baht a night.

Mid-Range
Baan Khao Sok Resort
One of the most unique places to stay in Khao Sok is at one of the tree houses at Baan Khao Sok Resort.
There are actually budget rooms available at the property without air conditioning, but our mid-range accommodation recommendation is the air conditioned tree house.
The resort’s jungle setting makes staying in a tree house a special experience, and gives you the feeling of staying out in the wild.
Monkeys can sometimes be seen nearby to the property, particularly from the on-site restaurant. There are also a number of other restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel.
Tours in Khao Sok National Park can be booked through the hotel – just ask one of the friendly members of staff. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay then definitely opt for the air conditioned room if you can!

Good View Resort
The Good View Resort is one of the best mid-range accommodation options in Khao Sok. It’s located a fair way outside the main village, but thankfully there is an on-site restaurant so everything you need is on your doorstep.
One of the best things about staying at the Good View Resort is that it has a small swimming pool. There are only a few hotels and resorts with pools in Khao Sok, and the Good View Resort is definitely one of the best value options if you want a pool.
Rooms at the property are spacious, air-conditioned, and have their own private balcony with views of the surrounding area. Prices are extremely reasonable at 2,835 baht a night, so it’s great value for what is consistently rated as one of the best places to stay in Khao Sok!

500 Rai Floating Resort
One of the best places to stay in Khao Sok is at the amazing 500 Rai Floating Resort at Cheow Lan Lake at the heart of the National Park.
There are a number of different floating hotels and resorts in Khao Sok National Park, but the 500 Rai Floating Resort is the most luxurious option.
Staying on Cheow Lan Lake is a wonderful experience, giving you the chance to enjoy beautiful views of the lake and the karst cliffs of the national park.
The resort has its own swimming pool, where you can cool off whilst enjoying the amazing views. Alternatively, kayaks are available for guests to explore more of the lake itself.
The resort’s location in Khao Sok National Park mean there are some great activities and excursions that can be arranged. Staff at the resort are extremely friendly and helpful, so will ensure you have a great time throughout your stay.
Rooms at the resort are the most luxurious and comfortable of any of the accommodation options on Cheow Lan Lake. As it’s a floating hotel, the rooms are a little basic but still have everything you need for a comfortable stay – including air conditioning. Bliss Khao Sok Boutique Lodge
Another of the best places to stay in Khao Sok is the Bliss Boutique Lodge. Conveniently located within walking distance of the Khao Sok National Park HQ, it’s in an ideal spot for exploring the park.
The lodge offers lovely bungalows in a beautiful jungle setting, whilst still being close to the restaurants and bars in the main part of the village. Compared to the other accommodation options in the village, the rooms at the Bliss Boutique Lodge are some of the nicest available.
All of the rooms at the property are spacious and have air conditioning, as well as having a private balcony for relaxing in this peaceful spot. Some guests even have monkeys come up to their balcony, so it can be a good spot to sit and watch some of Khao Sok’s wildlife!
